Was good until I installed the Tripit sync option for 2,99 €. Does not work anymore now..!!! Does anyone has a solution ?

Any fairly frequent flyer will be able to unmistakably recognize the value of having the information conveyed by such a well-crafted application at your fingertips. The searches are fast and the results accurate, which translates into priceless peace of mind in any airport you may happen to be in around the world. I have been extensively testing the app for a week and couldnt be more pleased with it, especially considering how little money it cost me!

I bought this app a while ago and I am on the whole happy with it. It does what it says and it has always worked well for me. However I paid €0.79 for the app and I dont think it is worth the new €4 price tag without some improvements, some of which would be very easy to perform: - Please, Please PLEASE do something about the order of the trip list. Currently I have failed to see the pattern in which it orders itself, but we should be given the possibility to order them by departure date or something. At the very least we should be able to order them manually. I fly several times a week and my trips list is about as organised as heathrows luggage transit facilities :-/. - now this is out of the way, another very annoying thing is the flight status thing. It has already been mentioned, and I dont think the developer put it there for no reason so I assume there is some technical problem to it. It would be nice to be able to download the status well in advance of the flight, but if it is impossible, there is at least one thing that could be improved. Currently, when adding a flight more than a day in advance, one has to enter the airports codes an flight times manually, since it needs to download these info and cant do it in advance. What I do usually is then say that Im flying on the same day, get the information and then edit back the date. This works with most flights within Europe or the USA as there are very few flights that do not happen daily. Surely the app could do that automatically without too much difficulty? - the homepage is actually not very useful, maybe the app could open onto something else like the trips list? - the airport departures and arrivals list is really unpractical: it gives far too much info on each flight and ends up being really long. Would it be possible to have a flight list where each flight would take one line? (with for ex. Provenance or destination, scheduled and actual times and airline) then if more info is needed about a flight being able to just click on it to get the full flight page would be easy. - also concerning the airport list, would it be possible for the time period to point automatically at the current one? - the gate departure and arrival numbers rarely seem to work here, is there a way to improve that, particularly in the last half hour before the departure time so people can actually use that info and use it for boarding? - some airlines (e.g. Air Berlin) now offer online check-in with a mobile phone boarding card that you receive on your phone or that you download. It would be nice to have the possibility of assigning an image from the library to each flight so we can easily access the boarding card from the app... - it would also be great to have somewhere access to a list if all flights stored regardless if which trip they are in, maybe just ordered chronologically. I will make the same remark for this as with the airport list: it should be short, with one line per flight, otherwise people with big databases wouldnt be able to use it. Alright Ill stop there. :)

...But crashes, crashes and ...crashes!!!

The Airline Ryanair seems to be supported (it is in list) but no flight is found! I will give more stars if this issue is fixed.

App itself is neat and useful. However: Features that were bought in-App cannot be restored and customer service does not reply to this problem.

The interface is generally well thought out and its a straight forward task to get flight information. There is still room for improvement. It would be nice if the airport status information included the name of the city of origin (arrivals) or of destination (departures) perhaps shown in a more condensed format to make better use of screen real estate. It would also be great if the flights position could be overlayed on a map and if there were a way to access current weather information for the origin and destination. Lastly, having an option to recurve updates on a given flight through both SMS and e-mail would be welcome.

Great app, allows to log your trips ahead of time for easy status check the day before. Small modifications would make it even better but Im sure it will come!

It would be great if your software picked up the city pair and flight times from the flight number and date that is manually entered. To have to enter all the data AND the cities is somewhat redundent and time consuming when the city pair and times are something that are in the system....no?

Great app. Very resourceful. Unfortunately if you travel to so many different destinations free wifi may not be readily available and I dont want data roaming charges. For that, I wish info on My Trips section can be cached for later retrival.

Neither was able to find my wifes return flight from Cuba to Canada (although it appears on my airports website under arrivals). But assuming the flight could have been found, it appears "Flight Status" has more search options than "Flight Tracker". Flight Tracker has a nicer mechanism for remembering flights AFTER you have found them (Flight Status requires you be in data entry mode to remember a flight, not simply bookmark one youve already found and are reviewing). And Flight Status seemed incomplete or buggy when I was entering a trip... can we not edit an already created trip to add or change details? Im voting "Flight Tracker" DOWN and "Flight Status" UP because I value multiple search options to find a flight as the most important feature, and "Flight Status" search options are much better. I hope Flight Status is further polished so trips can be edited, and that any flight found via search tools can be bookmarked or used as a starting point to create a "trip".

Very useful app as I travel a fair amount. I like the "My Trips" feature and now with some good updates just added. This makes it more than just a flight tracking program. I do have a couple of small suggestions for the next update please.... - Have a "Favourites" list for the Airport and Airline sections. - Make the month field in the date also scrollable. As it stands you have to scroll through all the days of each month to choose a date one or more months ahead. Noticed a small bug where I was asked for a Trip "Name" when saving after editing a trip, even though I already had the "Trip Name" field filled out. Also noticed sometimes when adding flights on a "Trip", the information from the previous flight (from the same Trip) sometimes would carry over to the fields in new flight. thanks, e

HORRIBLE!!! So buggy, and so hard to add a flight or trip. Really, this is a waste of money!

I paid $5 fir an application that didnt work when I really needed it to. Before heading to the airport I checked the flight status on my westjet 626 flying out of Vancouver to Toronto for 4:30. It said flight was "on time". I arrive at the airport to discover that the flight has been delayed 2 hours and that this has been the case re last 6 hours. I was told I should have called westjet. Though it was amusing to the agent I do not find it amusing paying for a service that doesnt work and having faith in an application that has wasted hours of my time. I could still be at home finishing my reports. This Is not the kind of application that can work only sometimes. This Is why we pay for it. I warn anyone that to pay and rely on this service is a time Waster. You have been warned. Now Im going to get my money back.

Using version 4.0 I fly between North America and Asia several times a month. Here is an example of a flight that cannot be entered. Cathay Pacific CX883 departed LAX at about 11pm (PST) on 27th Jan. I am currently in HKG waiting for the arrival of this flight and it is 4am (HKT) on the 29th. The aircraft is still enroute and scheduled to arrive in about two hours. However, I cannot enter this flight to check the arrival time because the app does not allow entry and checking of flights that departed two days or more ago. Please fix this by allowing checking and entry of flights up to two calendar days ago.

i have a flight tracker on my powerbook (dashboard widget) and was delighted to find an equivalent for the iphone. the information has always been accurate for me so far - even during the crazyness of this past xmas (im not sure what the fuss is all about with other reviewers - maybe it was from an older version). i guess if i had one more wish for this app it would be to have a map visual of the flight in progress. just because i think these are cool. ~ and my wish has been granted! :)

I purchased this application a day before my flight from Toronto to Cancun on Air Transat TS 684, to make sure I can follow the flight status before going to the airport.... unfortunately it can not even find any traces of that flight !! Quite dissapointing from the start. Dont hold your breath if you are looking for something useful !

It is an amazing app. Only thing missing is altitude and speed readings on the maps. They used to be there... Otherwise a must have product.
