Flight Status - Live Flight Tracker App Reviews

Seems like a well thought out app. But data is very off. For instance its 9:10 pm currently and a 6:30pm flight was delayed until 8:50. However this app says its still on time as of 9:30pm. Really quite off and unreliable. Not good for someone whom might actually be needing this ap for a real situation that could be time sensitive. Unless they update like the advertisement discloses it does.

Im a flight attendant, this app doesnt update correctly. A 12 hour delay says onetime. It used to be good. Im embarrassed that I recommended it to people. SOMEBODY FIX OR GET RID OF THIS APP!!

I do love this app and have NEVER had inaccurate info but today, my husband is on an overnight trip to Ireland and it says Ive reached my limit for checking his flight. For $5 I have a limit? I check the map often because I like that it shows me the location of the plane. But I seriously have a limit?!??!!

App interface OK But just got yelled at by my wife because data is totally off and she is 2 hours early at JFK

Not working, since the last update it crashes every time at startup. The summery screen needs to include more details and accuracy.

Crashing since 9/10 update - Help!!!

I am an airline pilot and used this app daily until the latest update. My favorite feature was the map in which you could see the aircraft ACTUAL route of flight vs. the the FILED route with a WEATHER RADAR overlay. Not anymore!!!!! The latest update replaced this useful tool with a CARTOON depiction of the aircraft location on a path that has nothing to do with its actual position and the weather overlay is gone! What a waste! This App has been rendered useless to me and I will delete it from my phone. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT PURCHASE!

@Appleapp We didnt remove the older map. You can choose the Static option in the settings section of the map. Regarding one star ratings, those are basically from competition gaming the system. We know who exactly is doing this.

If you had the older version you could add trips, now you cant. Probably can if you buy the upgrade! Bad deal!!

I have used this app a bunch of times since its release. I was looking forward to the new features but the app crashed when I updated. I reinstalled and it fixed the crashing but I lost all my Flight info and it wont let me add it in again. I cluck the + symbol and it just takes me to check on a flight status but wont let me save my upcoming flights. When this is fixed I will write a good review as this is one of my favorite travel must haves!

The new update looks great. Updates data fast. Easy to use. no problems.

The new update is crashing when used with OS 4.1. This used to be a great app, but I am not impressed with their quality control if they can take a great working app and screw it up this badly. I would have given it 5 stars, but it is not working!

I dont like the new map. The former display showing the actual flight path and weather conditions was a thousand times better. This one is very disappointing. You should return to the former. Are you going to return to the original display? You really should. Most of the reviews are negative.

This was a great app but totally stopped working with the os upgrade. I finally deleted it & re-downloaded it, & now it seem fine. An essential tool for a traveler. It knows more than the people behind the counter at the airport.

This used to be a great app but it appears that the developer has split the function into two or more apps: flight status and trip planner or maybe status pro. Regardless, the app is becoming less useful at each version upgrade. The accolades the app lists must have been on older versions so buyers beware. Examples: a) Cant load a trip planned for 2 months from now because the calendar selection wont go that "far" out, b) Cant edit trip data I loaded incorrectly c) Map cartoon

Dont buy. I bought this because my iPhone crashed after my computer crashed so I couldnt find the program I had. The first time I used it it was a dud. My flight was delayed 4 hours and I never received any notification or update. It showed on time departure throughout. I notified iTunes --- a dud there as well. Never a coment never a response. I am going to delete it and re-buy my original one.

This program doesnt update flights! I left for the airport after checking an hour prior to departure time only to find out that the flight had cancelled hours previously. Later if showed that the flight had left on time and arrived exactly on time too! Skip this one.

Nice Update. Calendar sync is a biggie for me. Thank you for listening.

This app is fantastic. It allows me to easily check the status of my flights. It also give important flight information like departing gate, arriving gate, baggage claim belt number. It also gives airport information, weather, nearby points of interest, etc. It is updated regularly with additional information and options -- like automatically syncing with iCal.
